Although they are both good shots, i find them both boring, but i do slightly prefer bolt A.
I think a way to improve the shot would be to go macro like with A but on a slightly strange angle that alot of people wouldn't think of doing, maybe looking down on an angle to show the threads more like vertical slashes. You have done a good thing looking for unusual subjects, now just look for the unusual angles to go with those subjects. These show alot of promise dont give up. ike, |

I think Bis better in that you can start thinking what it might be part f....if the bolt itself is the subject then A gives you more of the feel. I can imagine my fingers against the rusty flaky grooves.
sorry to say both lack interest....not in that they are not good shots but maybe lighting or angle or should I say perspective could give it more interest.... I would try different post processing techniques.
