Now that's a dramatic catch. The clouds are well-rendered. The planes give a great sense of scale, but I can't help but wish they were a little larger in the frame.

Are you shooting from a plane heading into the same storm? Looks like your subjects (and maybe you?) are in for a rough ride.

These are one man trick planes. In other shots (ones I dont care for) you can till they are yellow. But I chose this one because of the clouds.
I am on the ground.

THe clouds do make the shot, for sure, and as I said the planes really help emphasize the feeling of menace by setting up the scale.

awesome clouds! i would clone out the planes. they are too small in the frame and i wouldn't have even thought they were planes unless you said something. if you were trying to emphasis them, i would have suggested a longer telephoto lens so you could have clearly seen the airplanes.
but like i said, nice capture on the cloud formations.

The emphasis was on the clouds. This small file size ruins the hole shot after cropping.
Correction the emphasis was on the storm front. The plains (once your realize what they are)
brings to the realitazion of how big the storm is.

Heckuva capture! As already said, the planes are a little too small - even to recognize them as such.

love the clouds but with the planes so small I think I would just clone them out and focus on the look of the clouds.
Would have loved to see the planes a bit larger in the shot.

Default Lose The Planes

The Planes are way too distracting, they are too small to look like planes and thus just look like something went wrong, beautiful clouds though, quite ominous.
