I think he means that rather than take several different exposures to make the HDR, he just used several versions with adjustments of one Raw file. Superhero?

in photomatix it will take a RAW file and make a "HDR" like image out of it all on its own. Really fast work too. Then you just go int othe tone mapping and adjust however you like.

super sorry for bumping this, but yes it was just a raw file that I bumped into photomatix, not multipe pictures. Just felt bad that I didn't answer. We can let this topc die now ha.
