I'm looking for imput on this B&W

I like it a lot, though its too bad that stick is in the way. I also think I would look for more contrast if it was mine, it's almost more sepia in color then black and white, good overall!

Thank you, this picture is unedited as all of mine are because I'm not sure what photo program to buy at this time.

If you got the cash... PHOTOSHOP CS. It is a maze a zing. I think that you will have a lot of fun with it.

Try out the free editing program first: The Gimp or GimpShop. Both do things very similarly to Photoshop, and GimpShop is made to have a similar interface. It's worth a try if you're just starting out with editing and don't want to shell out a small fortune on a piece of software. There a lot of people here who use it as well, so if you had questions you'd be pretty likely to get an answer.
