Default My cat is crazy

This is my first attempt at shooting with vintage glass; 55mm micro-nikkor, the box says f/2.8 but it stops down to 1.4, which sort of confuses me, any insight on that count would be much appreciated. Anywho, I wear glasses, so manual focus isn't exactly easy for me, I should really get a diopter thing, but I don't want to spend money on something that boring, I have the diopter on the camera set as far as it will go, my eyes aren't THAT bad, but they're right on the edge of needing more. Enough about my eyes, onto the picture.

My cat decided to burrow in my sheets, at this point all I can see is his tail hanging out, but I did manage to snap this one before he turned around:

Nikon D50, Micro-Nikkor 55mm, 1/40s @ f/2.8, ISO800, 55mm

Your cat may be crazy but he is also well hidden. I think this shot could do with some post processing to bring him out of the shadows a bit although it may be more fun to just look for opportunities with better lighting.
