It is definitely suffering from file compression - I can see "artifacts" in various places, for example round the ears.
It is a shame that that face isn't sharper - that would transform this (a great memory, good composition but too soft) into a fantastic picture. It is hard to do that though, especially when trying to capture animals. I was round at my sister-in-law's on Saturday trying to photograph her cats - you can see from my results that I can't claim to be much more successful! Wulf |
