Default Innocence

Hidden among the trees, beside the hilly road, he was lost in his own world. When he looked at me, I could not resist the innnocence in his eyes. It was rather cloudy in the eastern Himalayas, so I could not make the shot more vibrant and colourful. Taken at F4.5 - aperture mode at ISO 400 in my D50.

I would appreciate very much for any expert opinion.

Thanks,

Welcome to the group! Nice job of capturing the moment. Technically excellent. Great skin tones and color, particularly at ISO 400.

subrataofkris,

Looked at "Fixed Attention" a moment ago. While I don't remember comparing photos before, these two stand out as perhaps mirror images, at least in my imagination. One dreams of a grand future, the other of his next meal.

A good photo can pull thoughts like that from a viewer. You did well in yours. Beyond the settings, you chose the right moment.

Just checked Fixed Attention, I loved it too. The backlight and bright sunshine intensifies the the hope.

Thanks
