![]() Hi all, I am an old guy trying to learn Photoshop!! Don't ask me how, but I did manage to somehow complete this little experiment!! Any suggestions. I hope some day to create photos that could be used for book covers ets. I just don't know how to go about selling my creations. Any advice would be greatly appreciated - Overexposed !

I love the idea of this photo. Is it a place that you can go back too? I think the maine branch throughout the photo is a bit too thick and overpowering. If it was like the rest or framing the house more and not dissecting it, it would be perfect to me.....
Even with that I love the look!

Removing that would be quite a task. With it being a building in the back you'd have to clone what you can't see and really aren't sure as to whats there. The brick would be simple but when you get to the windows and especially where the branch meets to split off it would something to see if someone could do it....I would love to have those skills.
Still a great photo.

I too agree with the branch comments. But what a great concept! I really like to colors you did this photo in, how did you get the almost brush marks in it? I too am just learning post processing so we'll learn together! I'm using Paint Shop Pro and really like it so far. I've heard a lot about PhotoShop but have yet to try it.

![]() ![]() Hi Angeleyes216, xxpinballxx and Windrider86, thanks for the nice comments on my photo. The first photo is the texture I used to create the brush like texture of the background. The second shot is the original photo of the old mansion. I just combined the 2 photos and then used the blending modes and curves settings to achieve the final photo. Oh, and I also added the 3rd photo of the crow.I will also try and include the original if I can find it. Thanks again - Overexposed ! ![]() Feel free to use my photos to try and make your own Sinister House (then post them so we can all learn) thanks again.
