Default taken this morning

I took this picture this morning....looking for some feed back.

One more questions, how do I make my pictures look bigger when I attach them?

nice photo. The amount of blurring is nice and the colors of the background from pink to green as you go across the photo. I would personally try cropping it a bit getting a little more of the flower and insect dominating the photo.
Also might put it off to one side or the other slightly.
I never seem to catch insects on flowers...they always take of before I can get the shot. Nice timing.

I was very excited for this photo when all I seen was the thumbnail, but I think at 100% it is lacking on sharpness, taking away from the great colors it has. This could be a great photo, work on getting that sharpness in there and it could be really good.

Nice work.

Karol, most people use an image hosting site like Flickr for their posts. See these instructions on how to do this:

How to Post Pictures in Assignment Threads Using Flickr

I agree with both miles and xxpinballxx...excellent painterly background, great catch of the insect, but could use more sharpness on the flower and tighter cropping to bring out your subject better. What camera settings did you use? Were you able to use a tripod?

Seems sharper, yes...although the attachment is smaller...different shot or did you sharpen in post-processing?

Karol, don't get discouraged......it looks like your second photo is still an 'attachment.' With Flickr, all you need to do is go to the 'all sizes' page of your photo, click on the medium size, then you will see below the photo a box with HTML. This basically serves as a link between Flickr and where ever you paste the HTML (in this case, DPS). So, finally you just copy and paste the HTML right into the text box of the post...no need to attach anything. It will look like a bunch of garble, but then when you preview your post, you'll see a photo in its place! Hope this helps.
