![]() Focal Length: 6mm F Stop: F4.5 Exposure: 1/400th Iso: 100 Spot Metering Mode Time: 20:37 I was at work yesterday and it was finally sunny, luckily when i finished it was still sunny, so i went home and got my camera. I decided seeing as it was (finally) such a nice day, i would go do landscapes at my favourite place again, Decided to do this panarama first before waiting for the sun to go down low enough so i could get that. Unforunately i didnt take that many shots for it (8 i think) rotating my camera around its little travel tripod (velbon CX mini) What do you think? How could i have improved it? How could i have got the image larger? Thanks, ike,

To get this shot bigger you could take it a bit closer, this will bring out some detail like doc pointed out and will give you a better overall shot I think.
I like how the colors go from dark to lighter, but at the same time I feel it distracting, same with the brick wall. Nice shot overall, panorama's are tough, so it is a good first attempt.

Thanks guys,
I think its a bit dark because i used a f4.5 with 1/400th shutter speed. Maybe i should have tried with different settings, but i didnt want to blow anything out, I also think one of the problems was i wanted the sky to look sharper, so i focused just above the horizon line at the base of the sky, which is what i think has caused it to become darker in areas, particularly the lower parts. I used PS3 to stitch it together using the Photomerge tool. About making it larger, i was thinking more along the lines of width and height, obviously width would be to take more shots going around and lengthen it like that. But what about the height? would angling the camera up after doing the lower row of shots or would that then make stitching harder? Its kinda hard to describe what i am thinking. Would changing the levels on the ground make it lighter? Thanks for the CC guys! Just need it to be sunny again... ike, |
