Welcome to the group. You did a very nice job of stopping the action at its peak at 1/640 second on your Canon A80. It is hard enough to stopp action on one person let alone 2. Good exposure! I look forward to seeing more of your work.

fiddling with auto settings on new camera, lovely day at the beach, and "perfect timing" - considering mother and son did jumps continuously for an hour i think, to get to this shot
, it was so much fun that jumping went on unwittingly to catch the sunset (and the silhouette effect). lucky.almost three years after, i'm finally taking steps to actually learn about photography and not just count on being lucky . and i'm learning a lot from dps, thank you all!

I'm discovering photoshop, yipee for me!
![]() Jiminy, thanks for pointing those "small things" out. All i could manage right now was the clone tool, so i cloned-out the cloud formation in between boy's right arm and leg as well as "extended" the frame. I was trying to clear out some of the leaves touching the mom's right hand, but alas, i haven't powers for that kind of stuff yet. how did i do? ![]() (and i even made an avatar out of this fave photo of mine! )

tekla,
THAT'S what that is! Saw the avatar yesterday, wondered what the shot was. Yes, much better. The leaves, do they bother you too much? It looks good to me, as before. Well done.
