seems to be a lot of photo with very little subject. I like the idea alot but a tihter crop whether portrait or landscape I am not sure but a crop might be the way to go. The background is a bit noisy.

Default cropped rose

I think the cropping helps you to focus on the rose..what does everyone think?

Like the portrait crop but now there are two distracting shiny points in the photo. A simple fix but Ithink it does let you see the rose with less distraction.

I feel the same way..honestly anything I suggest I try if time permits and some I post some get scraped. I know I would never use antohers photo as my own so I am not worried about it but some people are a bit touchy about others manipulating their photos. I love it....lets me in on what others are thinking in more of a visual way.

I don't think I have ever seen anybody object to having their photos retouched, but some people ask before they do, especially if they don't know what the poster's sensibilities are likely to be.

Many members give carte blanche in their signatures, with statements like xxpinballxx's.

(Snazzy new avatar, by the way.)
