Default Wedding Candles

I went to a wedding last weekend and of course took my camera. The lighting in the hall where they had the reception was poor, so I didn't get a lot of good photos of my friends, however I did take this one that I really liked, and would like hear what other people think.

I have taken photos like that because of the light also...what about superimposing the couple on the photo? can make for a nice effect.

Wiley,
I Like the light. This is a very good photo. I love candle photos, I have some of my own. I think you did a very nice job.
Have a good day.

Good exposure and composition. I like the use of three candles (an odd number works better than an even in most cases.) I also like the inclusion of the glass in the foreground. Good eye!

Default Nice Shot

That is a very romantic shot, these shots of the details are sometimes the winning photos in a wedding album..... These are things that the bride and groom don't get to really see or take notice of..... Very nice...

This is one of those cases of being in the exact right place at the right time. I did no arrangement of the candles/glasses. They were actually just sitting like that on the next table over. In fact, what you can't see in the photo is that I was shooting through a very narrow gap between two people's shoulders, so I couldn't even pick the angle to shoot from.

Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good . . .

Hi,
I think you said it all in your comment, "Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good . . ." But it still took your keen eye to take advantage of that lucky moment! War Eagle!
