Default Some Flowers

This was taken form a Cannon Digital XT. These were some flowers I had hanging in my room, and I thought they would make a cool shot. Tell me what you think.

I would crop it a bit to center the flowers.

Looking good in simple, dark background.

I feel its bit unbalanced and like to see evenly distributed darkness as the background.

May be different angle could have been improved this.

rapaturerach, Welcome

Practice is good, and showing it in Critique will bring you some views to help that practice become fine photography. There is a notion that objects "face" a certain way in composition, and we follow the direction of that look. Your flowers direct us to left, out of frame. If you moved camera over to the left, so flowers were looking into a space, or turned flowers to face right and allowed extra space on right, photo would "read" better.
