Lovely girl, she looks a little cold! Very nice job concentrating on her eyes. Good job!

This is a nice shot for the photo album to remember her visit. Good exposure, pleasant expression.

absolutely beautiful eyes.....she's gonna be a handful in a few years....
the photo has alot to look at and enjoy but the eyes are like beacons!
I think maybe another with the hair slicked backand maybe a little more room around her or either more cropped on her not sure which way would produce the best results. Nice job!

Default catchlights

I am never sure where to put the catchlights. Is there any easy way to know?

angeleyes216,

There's often just the faintest little light in the eyes that you can simply enlarge. Here you can tell by the orange glow on the left of photo on her forehead that a light is high and on her right side. Her nose has a little highlight coming from the front left. Her cheeks and chin are lighted by something higher left. The back of her left shoulder (right side of photo) has yet another highlight. So even with all that, I'd go with the position of the nose highlight to get a uniformity in that immediate area, forehead, nose, lips would agree.

angeleyes216,

The original photo (Post #1) has continued to look like a floating head for two days. A shot of just the area from the bridge of her nose up, submerged, would be mysterious and childlike fun at the same time. A pose on the side of the pool, looking back over her shoulder, would be a classic, and presents an interesting tilt to the head. If you get another chance to experiment?
