Cute shot that any mother (or grandmother) would love to have. I think you handled the exposure well as there are no blown out tones. You have also chosen a unique angle in that the child is not eying the camera. The apparatus she is riding makes for a busy scene but not bad and beyond your control for this shot. This is a keeper!

Thanks! I really like the shot myself, but just wish I knew what it was about the lighting that made it so nice. Is this something I could mimic in other photos with Photoshop? Thanks again!

What exactly is it about the lighting you want to mimic in Photoshop? It looks like the light is being filtered (diffused) through some pieces of playground equipment, creating the light and dark areas of illumination. Tell me a little more about what you are seeking and I'll see if I can help.

Very cute picture!
Try to avoid "cutting off" pieces of the body on the edge of the picture.
For example a piece of her tail and the elbow fall out of the picture. Take a slightly wider shot. You can always crop it afterwards.
