i didnt realise that there were so many colours in a cactus plant. looks very prickly but i like it .Exactly where was it taken?

Can you give us a little more information such as camera, settings, location, type of cactus etc.
The colors are really quite nice.

If you go out again, check your white balance. This may have been taken in a Tungsten setting, bluish cast considered. Worth a lot of shots, beautiful subject.
