Default Autumn's spring

Hello,

I'm new to the forums so allow me to introduce myself: I'm Don_Pace, 21 year-old college student and photography enthusiast and hobbyist (novice!). I love photography, it's fun to do. This site caught my attention, and here is my first submission for critiquing.

Took this at a stream not far from my place. Adjusted color levels, hue, saturation for interest. Slightly sharpened to add "crisp" feeling.

Nice colors and lines in your picture.
Maybe I would have used a bit longer shutter speed to give the water a slightly more "glassy" look.
To see what I mean see my picture of a waterfall http://www.xs4all.nl/~magossen/lands...s/waterval.jpg

Do bring a tripod or something to steady your cam and be carefull that the white spots don't get too blown out.

Don_Pace, Welcome

Title is clever and fits well. Water is sort of between sharp and as Mischa describes, either of which would give a better look. Very attractive composition. Enjoy the process!
