Default Beach houses

I was doing some experiments on the beach with the upcoming contest in mind.
What do you think?

Great composition. I especially like the second last beach house being tilted -- it adds interest.

I think you may have gone a tiny bit too far with the magenta though. I might consider toning it down slightly on the beach houses.

I agree, the composition is great, nice shot! But you need to reel back a little on the magenta.

Hi Mischa. Lovely shot. Agree with the magenta comments. Tried my hand at a retouch (hope you don't mind). I lowered the magenta and pushed around some of the the other channels a little. Then I selected the sandy bit to lighten a touch and bring up the contrast. I inversed the selection and pushed the contrast a little bit on the rest of the image too.

It sure looks better this way purplepixie.

I still have it in RAW, so can always adjust the original

Thanks for the advice all.

Tx Mischa. Ah, the beauty of RAW - you should be able to push it as far as you need.
