Not sure which i like better, the second is closer and gives more of the water splashes, but a little soft. Leveling out the horizon/waterline should really help.

Do you have colour versions of these?

that is colour, it was kind of late evening and tha tis just how they came out? Should they look different?

My vote goes to the first one after correcting for the horizon. For some reason the brid looks better in that one. In the second one the bird is a little too far into the shot as cropped. My eye wants to 'fly' out the right side of the frame.

I like the color and composition in the first one. All it needs is straight horizon, then it will be a great shot. Good job!
