Default la luna

I tried to take some pictures of the moon I wasnt able to get focused on it or something? What is it?

Do you know the shutter speed, ISO and aperture for your shot? Make sure you're using a tripod. Here's a good thread on shooting moon shots in case you haven't seen it.

Hi Todd. Part of the success of getting good moon shots is proper exposure as it is an extremely bright body. Your camera was metering for the whole scene and the trees cause it to overexpose which is probably what also gives the illusion of it being out of focus. Glad to see you are trying new subjects though.

you seem to have some camera shake...use a tripod or something sturdy to rest your camera on...you would normally set your focussing to infinity...
