Hi Todd,
You have some exceptional subjects here. The direction of the light caused you to shoot into the shadow side of the subject. Flash may have helped depending on how far you were from the subject and the power of your flash unit. Otherwise you will have to resort to some software manipulation to lighten it up. You may also want to crop this vertically as there is some wasted space at the sides on this format.

Thanks. I think I was a little out of range for flash, but that's something I'll keep in mind next time. And I agree about the vertical crop...I'll give it a try.
