This is difficult to critique. The tone on tone color and lack of interesting subject matter is not grabbing my attention. You could reshoot it by trying to emphasize the texture and perhaps bring up the contrast in editing, but I'm not sure I can figure out what you are trying to say here.

Crisp and sharp as far as the depth of field held allowing for the texture to be featured. Otherwise, I am trying to sort out why you took the picture. What were you seeing when you snapped the shutter?

Hmmm.....perhaps a bit of a tighter crop (cutting out most of the bottom left corner emptiness) on the in-focus rock might help the emphasise the texture.
