Default Sunsets

Hi,

I took this while on holidays in Venice. I quite like how the colours turned out, but was wondering whether people have suggestions for cropping etc.

This was taken on my Olympus mju725 (am currently in the market for a dSLR!) with the following settings:
f/5.0
ISO 80
exposure 1/150

Any input would be helpful
Thanks
David

davidmutton, Welcome

Great colors, good composition in lower right two-thirds. I would want to clone away partial tree on right, and lose a little of the blue at top. The sunset and lampposts are good subjects. From this size of photo, it appears sharpening would also make it better.

I like high saturation, like good ol' velva film, so if it twere me... I would saturate a bit more. The tree does take away a bit... clone out.
Like jiminyClickit states... sharpen a bit.

Sweet shot!

Gorgeous travel shot! Very fine. I agree with above, get rid of the tree on the right edge of frame. It sucks up way to much attention over there for no good reason.

Beautiful capture! Love the colors! I do agree with the others, clone out or crop out that tree and a bit of sharpening.

Looks good, might want to toy with the level curves and bump up the blacks to give you more solid silhouettes, may or may not be better, but it's something to consider.
