Was the white balance off for this shot? It's very turquoise on my otherwise reasonably accurate monitor. NY is an image rich area.

Here's a link to one of mine.

Nice pic. As for suggestions, I'd say that it's a bit underexposed and lacks a focal point.

rlarsen,

More or less: for compositional reasons, either focussing up on the towering buildings, or backing up to include a little street information, might make a more complete photo.

I cropped out the Street. Do you think it would look better with a street? I didn't like the street. I will re-look at picture.
Thanks

rlarsen,

Always just a guess; even if street were dark so it just added space, it would be sort of like feet on a standing person's portrait. You know there's a street (feet) there, but not showing it leaves an incomplete portrait of the cityscape. Or if you move up and take an "above the waist" portrait of buildings, the street doesn't need to be seen. Again, what you like is best for your photo.

Nice shot. I like it alot. The crop doesn't bother me. It makes sense since adding the street view would only add more confusing material and complicate the composition.

The underexposed facade has some lights, and this is afterall almost a silhouette shot given the sky. It draws even more attention to the highrise features in the back. This shot works.

Great job.
