rlarsen,

Titles are getting better, too. Somewhere in your camera menu, there's a white balance setting. Mine allows me to see through the lens each setting's effect on the color. If your camera has a similar feature, it will make shots like this better, with more vibrant colors overall.

I would like to know more about the white balance. I've seen others talk about it, I've never used it, as you can tell.

rlarsen,

Have you kept your camera instuction booklet? Or you can look up your model online and find how to determine that it's set right for conditions. I can get a decent daylight color in a flourescent-lit room at 2 AM, just by adjusting white balance.

There are some really great references about white balance out there. Cambridge in Color has one article on it that demonstrates how white balance can make photos look different. I may come back to this answer with an example of the difference that white balance settings can make.

Yes, I have my book for my camera, and find it hard to take time to read it.

I've posted a different picture with the Change, Your correct with the color difference. With the color change in Picasa2, the yellow is gone on the Eyes. Thanks for the Help, Jiminy.

rlarsen,

That's great! You'll be happy more often with the results this gives. Better, brighter truer color. Now am I reading that you've got the camera figured out for white balance, too? Or are going to find time for the manual?
