Hi Annie - They're good looking birds! Maybe a little small to be the focus of your picture, tho'. (Get closer or zoom in.) I find the washing on the line rather distracting too. Pity, because the background behind it looks interesting. Thanks for sharing and keep posting.

Hi and welcome to the group. As Penny suggested, moving in closer will help as may changing the angle of view and background. It looks like you also have some potential subject matter in the flowers in the field as well as the rustic fencing. Even the clothes pins and cloth on the line may make for an interesting close-up. I look forward to seeing more of your work and will be happy to help where I can.

Thanks for the helpful tips. I definitely have a tendency to get wedded to the first thing I see--it helps to be reminded to look at all the angles!

I agree with trying all the angles, but that said, I like your shot because it tells a story.
