Thanks, I was using my 70-300, and experimenting at how close I could get without losing sharpness, maybe I will re shoot tomorrow and try to get closer.

If you can shoot early morning or just before sunset, your dandy will have a warmer natural-looking color w/o editting. Great subject for creative shooting.

If you do get the chance to reshoot, perhaps more of the stalk could be included, because to me at the moment, i feel that my eye follows the stalk down, and is then cut short. What i do like is placing the dandelion in the far right of the image, to me it gives it a feel of movement, like the seed things were blowing off the dandelion, into the left of the frame.
