Default Mountain Biker

I been playing with some different styles of post processing. Might not float some people boat but I think the cool blue looks deadly.

Also been playing with borders as you can see.

Really great shot, but the blue is sinking my boat. JMO

Yeah, same here. I find that i personally prefer the warm glow of early morning/late afternoon. But colour aside, Great capture!

Jason,

Or you could rename it "Mountain Biker Blues." I like the different color. It shows a new side of your creativity. Keep on keepin' on.

Its a good capture for sure. Im not convinced about the blue either. I see you have your biker framed at the top of the shot which helps give the impression of height in the jump. But as you have desaturated the grass below, it is hard to get a feeling of depth and thus height. Also, if you get the chance again, I would try to shoot from an even lower level to put the rider higher in the sky. Like the border too, really gives it that magazine feel.

Cool blues look great in just about anything.

I am a fan of the border, as I feel it runs well with this image, but that style border only works well in photos like this.

Very crisp shot for an action shot as well. Great work.

I think if you cropped this horizontally instead of vertically (with only showing the treeline) it would give him more of a sense of height.

With regard to composition I prefer the first of the two.

Great work as usual! I like the cool blue and like someone else commented, the border works for this image! The first shot has my vote! Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
