for me there is a bit too much of the dark houses in the bottom, I'd crop at least half of the dark part ... or maybe if you have an other chance, then frame in more of the interesting clouds and less ground ...

awesome colors in the sky!
you can just barely see some detail in the water, but i agree not enough. i would suggest cropping it at the treeline. great capture tho!

Sime,

We just had a rainstorm with the sun shining, so I can really appreciate this look.. Have you tried bringing out the water reflection in editting?

Loving this shot Sime. I agree it could do with cropping at the bottom as the little bit of detail that can be seen shows a distracting diagonal. That would give you great balance between the size and shape of the dark areas in bottom left and top right. An absolute cracker mate!

I think everyone likes the detail and colours in the clouds...they're very cool indeed. With regards to the distracting detail people have mentioned, I would have suggested trying to capture the houses and foreground as a strict silhouette. It's hard to get a good balance between the exposure of the clouds and blacking out the houses and land below, but it's definitely doable. Just something to try next time you shoot a sunset. Overall great shot though.
