Im enjoying my new camera so forgive me for all the postings. I appreciate all your comments and will use them as i continue to experiment

i like the idea and the exposure, but i'd rather see the picture taken further away to get more of the wine glasses in. and why wine glasses?
good work with the new camera tho!

in overall a nice shot, the flowers and wine classes play well together, but it bothers me a bit that the flowers are cut in the edges ...

Is this looking any better? i like the soft apricot colour but maybe this is too much?

angeleyes216,

You're on a good quest; I'd look at a vertical shot with flower in glass, or at base of glass, fewer folds in cloth. Apricot color is from what? It would help glass if that were behind it. In above (a little too dark on right), the glass seems out of place in front. Keep shooting.

i never realized how involved photography is, but for never having taken a lesson, im pleased with how much ive learnt and continue to learn.
