andy2710, Welcome

Some richer color will help, through saturation or contrast, or both. Good framing and composition. A stronger obvious subject is a good goal. A creek is only as interesting as what it reflects, or sits in front of it. White object, bottom right is distracting.

i also agree it could use a little boost in contrast and saturation. if you have the means i would also suggest cloning out that blue thing toward the left middle of the creek, the white thing in the bottom right of the frame, and if you really wanted to have at it, get rid of all the houses and stuff in general to make it seem completely serene.

andy2710 - If you like taking this sort of shot, I would recommend a polarising filter to cut down on the glare and raise the colours.

I think adjusting the brightness adds more to the photo
