Lothegan- I think that this looks a lot like when I'm studying too. I won't bore you by linking to the picture or two I have in my photostream of my coursework. They can be difficult pictures to take actually, trying to balance between what should be in focus and what shouldn't and also getting all the colours right. I think that if you'd changed your angle so you were more above the work and looking down, you could have eliminated the yellow table in the background. Though I do like the low angle, so you could also try putting some school books behind all the work so that also removes the brightness of the table.

You have many good photos, but even the best photographer will sometimes post something that just isn't like the really good ones. This one is not like your portraits, not as strong as a photograph. It's given you experience, and that's good. It can be exciting showing your work to people who are interested. So keep taking photos, and show them when they are ready.
