There seems to be a bit of motion blur in city lights in the first one, although only some of the lights are blurred, did you prop the camera on anything?
In the second image i like the fact that the firewords are similar colous to the city lights. but there appears to be a dirty mark from something in the middle of the shot......not sure about this though. Also in the second one there appears to be some sort of blue structure in the background, but most of it is obscured by a rock. Pehaps if you get the chance to reshoot, you could get infront of the rock and turn the blue structure into a stunning foreground ![]() Otherwise composition seems good to me!

Yea im actually not sure what the blurring from the first shot came from since i had my mini tripod with me but that might have been one of the shots i didn't have the 2 sec timer on. As far as the 2nd shot the blue structure is actually the Superman roller coaster and in order to get any closer i would have to actually get into the theme park. The rock structure is actually a rock quarry wall that surronds the park. Here is a closer view of the wall that i took when I first got my camera.

Both shots have a bit of camera shake, though it's more pronounced in the first. Also, in the second shot, it looks a bit cloudy and noisy, and it looks like it's a mite overexposed.
Oh, and I think the blue stuff stevesutt89 was referring to is this thing: |

Oh ok I know what your looking at now, that is actually part of the light show that they project onto the rock wall at night but some of it is covered in smoke since they also light fireworks from down there and up top near the coaster.

Thats just it, im not sure why the shots are blurred because i did have a tripod, any suggestions as to why this may have happened would be helpful for future shots.

Here's a thought about the blurring in the first photo. Let's assume you started the time eposure but accidentally bumped the camera slightly causing the streak of lights. The camera steadied itself after the bump and the fireworks lit up. Then you closed the shutter. I don't know what your exposure time was but that would be a guess as to why the lights blurred and the fireworks did not.

Your partially right about the bumping on the first because I forgot the 2 sec delay and I just pressed the shutter down making the camera shake when I released it. Both shots I believe were at about 5-8 sec shots.
