Default Jacaranda Pods

I took this shot last week. I liked the way the pods were grouped. They were almost directly above my head and the sun was coming through the leaves on the tree. The only thing I've done was crop so the pods were the main focus.

kkathy,

Well shot; especially interesting background, just the white area on left causing some distraction. Could be editted successfully if it bothers you too? A little extra room at bottom would be more comfortable.

Kkathy,
Nostalgia rules! The streets of my home town, Pietermaritzburg, were lined with jacarandas and I love them in all their stages. Thanks for a trip down memory lane! BTW Nice shot

Thanks!

jiminy, more room at the bottom would be nice. I just looked at my original and unfortunately I didn't give more room to play with. I tend to give too much room at the top of my photos I think. Something to keep in mind. I will play in photoshop a bit and see if I can bring down that bright sun glare.

Penny, we have them growing all over Southern California. The deer here love to eat the fallen blossoms. I have a photo of a Doe and Fawn gazing on the blossoms, keeps the mess off the sidewalks
