Nice shot, good composition. I wonder if the image would be stronger if the yellow flowers were cloned out at the foreground. I suggest cloning rather than cropping as that would affect the balance of the photo. The EXIF data says that flash was used. If that is correct, the flash fill is ideal for this shot and did not illuminate the foreground. Did you get any shots where some of the face showed as in a profile? Sometimes showing just a part of the face makes the image more personal.

No i didnt. No face at all. I have learned to more often that not to clone out an image for the reasons you stated and will try it on this one. Thanks for the advice and will post the results later!
But in fact i did crop this down considerably from the original that had WAY too much clutter in it
