Default The shackles of oppression...

took a half day last week and went around downtown testing out my new camera

life near the sea

racing for a reason

don't think I've really talked much about the 30D since i picked it up the other week. I am definitely glad I took the leap and ubgraded. the controls are so much more intuitive and the grip is far superior to the 350d. i didn't think i minded the size of my old camera, but after playing with both side by side i guess i was just fooling myself If you have the means, the upgrade is worth it.

All these images are good, but the 3rd one is absolutely stunning - the pace and energy have my pulse racing as if I can hear the sirens. Wonderful work!!

I like all three. The third one is an especially good example to use when someone asks about panning to impart motion or to freeze the subject. I see your shutter speed was only 1/25 sec. Well done! I look forward to seeing more work from your new camera.

I like all three pictures but I love the second and third. I think the shells in black and white is outstanding.
