Default Crystal Core

Hi guys,
I need comments on this, Ive had mixed feelings about this picture and I'd like to know what you would think of this...

although i cant see that crystal there at the site you linked,

i realy like the pic, tho might try to reduce some noise...

but it's realy cool

I like this degree of green. however, the reflections inside the crystal don't give you the impression of purity!
at 2st, I thought it was an un-clean peice of glass being shot with a hazzy lens...

may be another angle would make the shot much cleaner..
or what you think?

but good job after all..

Very difficult to make out the subject. If not prompted that it is a crystal, the picture itself is misleading.

Looks like a photo of some experiment with light involving a refractive material.

Was the greenish color resulted due to flouresecnt lighting?.

Surely another angle would have been a better idea.

Floris - Yeah I agree it does look grainy.
Lastoadri - Yes I agree that it does look dirty too.
KRIS - its sort of an attempt for abstract, the crystal is in itself green and I was trying to capture the lines of light.

Thanks for the comments guys, I'm gonna try and take another shot of this if I can get near it again... hehe
