The Eye of God

This is image from a cathedral ceiling in Buenos Aires. I had to take it hand held through an iron gate fighting off a school party and hold it steady through a longish exposure. I quite like the effect of the light but wasnt sure whether to go the HDR route with this one. What do you think?

Interesting perspective! You have a great eye for composition in the abstract. Not sure I like the size of the 'eye' coupled with its intense whiteness. Sharp throughout. Can you share your technical details and any CS2 post porduction work?

Hi clockdoc,

Thanks for your comments. I currently use a Sony DSLR-A100. This shot was taken at 35mm in Manual Mode at ISO800 and 0.8s at f/5.6 as it was quite dark (despite the big ceiling light). I still had to bring the brightness and contrast up a bit in Lightroom and due to the high ISO cleaned up some of the noise with Noise Ninja.
