This is one of my fav photos, he's my drummer, sound check in Huanuco, Peru.

Please critique my shot, I'm new in photographs, but I like it.

Sorry my english, I speak spanish.

HI and welcome to the group. The placement of the cymbal nearest the drummer's face bothers me the most followed by the bright area in the upper left side of the image. Try a little more headroom in your next photo shoot as well. Otherwise I think you have the makings of a fine, 'low key' shot of the individual. I like the incorporation of his shadow in the image as well.

Thanx for your comments, next time I'll try to make better, this photo was taken in a very dark stage, so I use a slow velocity, this help me to capture the movement of arms, next time try to see diferent angles, my drummer never knows that I was shooting photos in that moment, he simply was warming arms and legs, there is no pose, or preproduction.

Thank you so much

Pd. sorry my english, I hope that you understand something
