Default The forbidden towel!

Towel black and white

I'm happy with my new camera! Still playing with it. This is a photo of my girlfriends forbidden towel in her bathroom. She says it's too cute to be used. Hope you like the photo. C&C are welcome!

This goes to show you there is a photo just about evertwhere you look. I like the concept of this photo. Good eye! Others will have varying opinions as to cropping but I like it as it is. What lens did you use for this shot? Couldn't locate the EXIF data.

Like the BW conversion, but I was curious about what it looks like in colour?

Default Thanks!

I'm glad both of you liked the photo. Here are some answers to your questions
Clockdoc:
The lens I used for this photo is AF-S NIKKOR 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6G. Hope is well described.
ELAY:
Here is the original photo. I just made a little level adjustments, nothing else.
Thanks for your comments!

Yea, I got a critique for ya. First, fix the darn wall & then tell your girlfriend to bug off! Be a man & tell her that you'll use any damn towel you find first!! Then prepare yourself for a lot of lonely nights.

Just kidding, I couldn't resist. This is one of those "silly" things that separates the sexes. We men have been trying to figure it out for generations.

Nice shot, definitely original. The image works a lot better in black and white.

I say, her towel, her wall. Let her fix it!

My goodness this thread has turned testosterone filled lol It's just a towel... besides, would she really notice if you used it and threw it in the washer? Or is that outside of things boys do

Oh yeah, the picture... Gah, now I'm distracted by the wall... I think that the shadows are a little distracting in the B&W shot. I think that if there were less shadows and it was more stark it could be a very interesting picture PS, points for creativity in finding something to photograph in the bathroom.

If I used the towel and then threw it in the wash, you bet my wife would notice (so would my daughter who is getting more like her mother every day). So even though I did the right thing by washing it, I would still be in trouble for using it in the first place. Nicole, you know that we (the guys) are never right, so why fight it. (At least i put the toilet seat down)

So, you mean, she wouldn't just be happy that you did laundry? Really, that gets rid of any idea that "x shouldn't be used" if someone besides me is doing laundry lol!
