I created a DIY tent using tracing papers. Used the sunlight as main source of light. My 3 inches Darth Maul Toy as subject and DVD cover of Star Wars Episode 1 as background.

I placed the DIY Light tent near my room's window where there is enough sunlight. I placed Darth maul and the DVD cover about ten inches apart.

Shot using Aperture Priority and Macro mode. I also used a 9 watts flourescent lamp and place it at the left (facing monitor) side of the tent.

No post processing. The picture is original output only resized.

Nice work! I appreciate the size of the figure you were working with. The incorporation of the DVD cover made an excellent background. Good tonal separateion throughout, particularly on the main figure. I see now in the EXIF data that you shot at f/8 which helped carry sharpness throughout the figure. Hopefully your process will encourage others to give your system a try. Thanks for the detailed explanation.

Nice photo!

I really like the way you used the DVD cover as a background
