ELAY,
Just that one thing has improved most every shot I've tried since March: exposure setting based on near-to-the-lightest part of photo. It does usually mean some edit work, but rarely any blown spots. Your sky has a rich sunlit opening, pleasant to see. Composition features titular area; title causes a second thought, good exercise for our brain. Well done

Understanding Exposure -- was reviewed on the DPS blog the other day (a coincidence, my wife doesn't know about this site, and let's keep it that way). I have really found it to be an excellent resource for somebody at my level: working knowledge of the various settings etc., needing help on how to apply them well. EL |
