Default Can't decide which version I prefer

I am struggling to decide which version of this shot I prefer. Any feedback would be appreciated. Also any suggestions on I how I could improve it.

#2 is closer to the colour of my childhood neighbour's VW camper. Does that help?

Image 1 has more snap and contrast where image #2 is probabaly closer to the original colors.

lucasweb, Welcome

With another go at it, you could put vibrant van (1) on better lit b/g (2) and have a good third choice. If only it weren't so tightly cropped. It's like a boxed toy.

I like #2 better. It looks more realistic.

Thanks for all the feedback. Have had another go at processing the image and am happier with the results this time.

Third is great, while still being faithful to the neighbour's van.

Can I ask what that smoothish stuff is on the road to the side and rear of the van? Is it just an asphalt patch?
