Default First Paid Shoot...

Friday I did my first paid promo shoot for a band. They wanted the photo's to be fun. Lemme know what you think, I've never done promo's before so I'd like to get some CC. It's kinda cool getting paid to do something like this

I like your choice of location. Your ideas look good, but most of the shots seen to emphasize the guy with the red shirt. He's either in front of everyone, the one with the best focus or doing something (in the first pic) that draws the attention. The b&w is the only one that doesn't do that. Is it meant to be that way?

My favorite is the black and white. I like your use of the tall grass in the foreground. I agree with Saralonde's comment about the guy in the red shirt being the center of attention. What was the final product you delivered for pay (CD of images, prints?) Hope this will bring on more paying jobs for you.

Saralonde-It really wasn't meant to be that way, I just told the guys to act natural while I took a bunch of shots because I'm not so much a fan of planned expressions and the such. The guy in the red shirt isn't the singer of the band or anything just more of the spokesman of the bunch I guess you could say.

Clockdoc-Since I did this job while I was on tour I just e-mailed them the hi-res and lo-res images.

This was a fun learning experience, I hope to do more. Hopefully I'll have more time to work with than an hour. The shoot was sort of rushed because these guys were the opening band so we had to get them back to the venue to play.
