This is another shot which i took from the 16th floor of a building...
since its taken through a glass there is slight reflection...
shot is taken in shutter priority with speed of 15sec..

Technocally speaking this is a good night shot. My only observation would be to have placed the dominant building a little less off center

There are a few way to get rid of most of the glare from the glass. Most of the glass glare is caused by light on the same side of the glass as the camera. You can eliminate the light on your side of the glass by using some of the following methods:

Turn off all light sources in side the room you taking pictures from.

Shade the light in front of the lens. Place you rubber lens hood against the glass to block surrounding light. Pull the curtains to behind th camera to block the light. Place the front of the lens to within 1/2 inch of the glass and place a dark cloth aroun the outside to the lens and touching the glass.

clockdoc...
i'll keep that in mind while taking shots...

I tried to eliminate the reflection.... i made the room as dark as possible...
but due to the very slow shutter speed it still managed to pick up the refection...
