Nice shot, but your narrow depth of field draws attention away from the tower and towards the sand-like thing.

bigdoggold, I like the concept of your shot...a unique perspective indeed. I think the colors and light are excellent and the two clouds add some nice texture to the sky.

A couple of suggestions:
-matthewchj brings up a good point about your depth of field. I think your choice of focus is certainly interesting, but if you want the viewer to see the tower (as evidenced by the photo's title), then perhaps focusing on that instead would help. On the flip side, I think your choice of a narrow depth of field adds a creative element.
-I wonder if shooting at a slightly different angle would give the viewer a better 'wow that tower is tall and I am so short' feel. Perhaps you could back up a bit.
-Finally, I like your crop, but I would consider experimenting with a portrait crop, since your subject is also that orientation. Again, this crop may enhance the perspective of the tall tower.

I think as is, your photo is nicely abstract in a way and certainly creative. Thanks for sharing!
