Interesting photo, what this a random find or planned? Also what is it that the leaves are attached to? I quite like the angle because it allows the patterns that the water being thrown up are like.

Excellant composition, it works quite well

My only quirk is the blown out area to the top

Also perhaps a faster shutter speed to freeze the water a little more since the splash with the leaf is really making a great effect

Thanks guys...

I didn't use a tripod, there was no place to put it.... I had to take like 5 shots to get one good one. It's a random shot... not sure what the leaves are attached to... they are on the edge of a mini-falls so I am assuming they got stuck between rocks or something like that. I posted 2 more water shots in the "water" assignment... they are from the same area.

Thanks again.

Nice shot! Nice colors...same comment as hitkaiser - the blown out spot up top...i guess with IS, you wouldn't need a tripod...

Default Nice Shot

It is good to see your eye found this small occurance and took advantage of it. Your composition is good, and showing some sense of motion by using the 1/50 speed was good too.
