Default TEXEL Island (Holland) in winter

I personally like this picture because of its atmosphere and composition.
The picture was taken with a NIKON coolpix compact camera (left SLR at home).

I wonder about your opinions.

Kind regards,

Dolphin

Nice picture, the large depth of field really works for it.

I love this shot! Was anything done post? Seems like there is alot of dust rustled up and almost gives a foggy appearance except a clear fog...best way I can describe it. Love the shot!

dolphin, Welcome

If that's snow (I shivered a little seeing it), I understand liking the atmosphere. Composition is OK; as you see other photos, it may influence your centering of perspective endpoint, horizon. Here, you could take a little bit of sky away, and some right side where it's much the same grass and fence. That would place attention and subject closer to upper right, a "warm" spot for attention in a photo.

Thank you all for your comments.

There was no postprocessing done on this image,

The fog is actually beach sand blown up by a storm wind (8 beaufort).
This is the reason I left my SLR in the hotel. It was allmost impossible to keep my eyes open looking into the direction of the wind.

Kind regards.
