Default Red Fox

We have several foxes in a woodlot in our urban neighborhood. They usually only come out at night or in low light but this one finally came out during daylight. Fortunately I was in my "duck blind" with my camera.

It's a nice photo, especially with the tail to the side to let us see how bushy it is. What's that in it's mouth?

I think it is part of an apple he just bit into..you can see the juice spraying in front of him, especially in the shadow or darker parts.
